An hour's drive encompasses beautiful mountain roads to the coast, Powis Castle, the Brecon Beacons, Dan-yr-Ogof Limestone Caves, Hergest Gardens and Knighton Observatory to name but a few places. Close by you will find the Elan Valley Visitors Centre, the Victorian Spa town of Llandrindod Wells with its bike museum, Gilfach Farm reserve and the Kite feeding centre in Rhayader.
